Work the Issues list
Issues is a list of things in your workspace that need a fix: a unit with no price, an arrival who still owes money, an urgent repair nobody has closed. Lodgr checks the whole workspace every hour and keeps the list up to date for you. Every row has a Fix button that opens the exact page where you fix it.
What the check looks for
Section titled “What the check looks for”| Issue | What it means | Where Fix takes you |
|---|---|---|
| Arrivals with a balance to collect | A guest arrives today or in the next three days and has not paid in full | The booking’s Payments tab |
| Arrivals without a verified ID | An ID check was asked for on a booking arriving in the next three days and is not done | The booking’s Screening tab |
| Urgent maintenance | A repair marked urgent is still open, in progress or on hold | The maintenance board |
| Units without a price | No nightly price is set on the unit, its type or its property | The unit’s Pricing tab |
| Rooms your channel does not sell | The property is connected to a channel, but this unit or room type is not | Channels |
| Price rules ending soon | A dated price rule’s last night is within two weeks | Price rules |
| Units without photos | No photo on the unit, its type or its property | The unit’s Photos tab |
| Booking site without a headline or description | Your booking site is missing its headline or its description | The site editor |
Arrivals today or tomorrow, and urgent repairs, are marked Urgent. The rest are Needs a look, except the booking site copy, which is Worth doing.
The four tabs
Section titled “The four tabs”- Open: what needs a fix now. This is where you work.
- Fixed: issues someone marked fixed. If the next check still finds the problem, the issue moves back to Open by itself, so marking something fixed cannot hide it.
- Dismissed: issues you chose to ignore. Later checks leave them alone, even if the problem is still there. Use this for things that are true but fine, such as a unit you keep off your channel on purpose.
- Auto-resolved: issues the check found fixed on its own. You do not need to mark anything: fix the problem, and the issue closes within the hour.
-
Open Home → Issues. The Open tab lists the most pressing groups first.
-
Press Fix on a row. You land on the page and tab that holds the fix, for example the unit’s Pricing tab for a unit without a price.
-
Make the change and come back. Press Scan now to check straight away instead of waiting for the hourly check. The issue moves to Auto-resolved.
-
If an issue does not apply to you, press Dismiss. If you change your mind, open the Dismissed tab and press Reopen.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- A seat limited to some properties sees only the issues for those properties, plus the workspace-wide ones such as the booking site.
- Front desk seats do not see Issues. Booking Managers and Account Managers can read the list and use the Fix links, but only an Admin or a Property Manager can mark an issue fixed, dismiss it, reopen it or run a scan.
- An ID is only expected when someone asked for an ID check on the booking. A booking with no check requested never shows as missing an ID.
- An empty Open tab means the last check found nothing wrong.
