Map your units to Airbnb

Mapping is what makes a booking on either side block the right unit on both. Until an Airbnb listing is mapped to a unit, nothing about that unit syncs.

1. Enable Airbnb sync on the property first - the unit rows only appear once the property is provisioned, and accounts connect to enabled properties.

2. Open the hosted manager with Manage Airbnb accounts (or a unit row’s Manage button). Inside it you connect an Airbnb account and match each of its listings to a Stay N Host unit. Publishing, unpublishing, and refreshing a listing on Airbnb’s side also live inside this manager.

3. Check the unit rows back on the Airbnb screen. A mapped unit shows Synced with its last push time; an unmapped one shows Not set up. Sync now pushes a unit on demand.

4. Choose what is distributed. In Individual units mode, the “Units on the channel” list gives every unit its own Put on channel / Take off channel switch. In Pooled by type mode there is no per-unit switch - the channel sells one listing per unit type, and the per-item lever is Hold back units instead.

Undoing a mapping

Unmap (or Take off channel) stops a unit selling on Airbnb and tears down its channel setup. Bookings the unit already has are untouched - unmapping is about future distribution, never about existing stays.

On or off is the only per-unit choice - on purpose

There is deliberately no “sync one direction only” option per unit. A unit that pushes availability but ignores channel bookings (or the reverse) can double-book; on/off is the only per-listing switch that cannot oversell.

Pooled properties: watch the drift line

If a unit-type row says “channel still sells N - re-sync to correct”, Airbnb believes the pool is bigger than it is. Use Re-sync setup on the property to push the real count before the channel oversells you.
