Read the booking History tab
The History tab is the booking’s full story, written at the moment each thing happened: the funnel steps, the hold, every payment, the confirmation, and every edit since. When a number looks wrong, this is the tab that answers “who changed it, and from what?”
What lands here
Section titled “What lands here”Every state change on the booking writes an entry automatically - there is no way to change a booking without leaving one. That includes:
- The funnel trail: inquiry, quote, hold, payment proof, verification, confirmation.
- Stay moves: check-in, check-out, no-show, cancellation with its reason.
- Money events: recorded cash, refund requests and decisions, extension approvals.
- Edits to dates, unit, party, or total - and any skipped condition gate, with the written reason.
- Automated actions, which name the system and the rule that acted, never a person who didn’t.
Reading an entry
Section titled “Reading an entry”Each entry shows the action, who performed it, and when. Edits are field-precise: every
changed field renders as a before – after pair, with money amounts formatted in your
workspace currency. A value shown once, without an arrow, did not change - it is context
the entry carries so the line reads on its own (for example, the quoted total beside a
restated payment split).
