Roles in one minute
Section titled “Roles in one minute”Every seat has a role; the role decides which screens exist for that person. The library covers the jobs a rental operation actually has - from Admin and Point of Contact through Cleaner, External Accountant, Owner, and Investor - summarized in plain terms in Choose the right role. Beyond the library, custom roles can be composed for your workspace (with hard ceilings: no custom role ever moves money or releases door codes). The walkthrough is Invite a teammate; the complete matrix is in Reference.
Where a setting lives, when it’s not in Settings
Section titled “Where a setting lives, when it’s not in Settings”The honest map, because everyone looks in Settings first:
| Looking for… | It lives at |
|---|---|
| Bank accounts on quotations | Bank Accounts (Revenue) |
| Fees and taxes | Fees & Taxes (Revenue) |
| Refund ladder, quote terms | The property’s Policies / Quotations tabs |
| Listing types | The property’s Listing types tab |
| Daily-report audience | The Agent Hub rule |
| Guest app configuration | Guest app (Operations) - set it up |
| Booking website | Booking website (Channels) - build it |
| Who can approve what | Settings → Approvals - the guide |
The audit trail
Section titled “The audit trail”Every state change in the workspace - a verified payment, a released code, a role change -
writes an audit row with who did it (a person, or system plus the rule that acted).
Read the audit trail is where you read
them. When something surprising happened, start there; the answer is always recorded.
