Block dates
A block says: this unit is not for sale on these nights. The funnel can neither hold nor book them, and they read as busy on the unit’s iCal feed. Blocks are drawn on the calendar itself.

Select the nights. Tap a free cell on the unit’s row, then a second cell to complete the range (or drag). A selection panel slides in from the right; you can drag across several units to block them all at once.

Open the “Operational block” section in the panel.

Pick the reason: Maintenance, Cleaning, Owner use, Renovation, or Other - each gets its own icon on the grid. Add an optional note (“AC replacement, painter booked”).

Check the dates. The end date is exclusive - that night stays sellable. The form says so, because it is the thing everyone gets wrong once.

Press “Block nights”. The block appears as a slate bar in the unit’s bottom lane.
Editing, moving, and removing
Section titled “Editing, moving, and removing”Click an existing block to reopen its form - change the dates, reason, or note, or press Remove block. You can also drag a block along the row or to another unit. A block can never land on nights that carry a booking or an active hold - the save refuses and tells you which conflict it hit.
Hour windows
Section titled “Hour windows”Tick “Specific hours only” to narrow a block to a clock span on one day (a maintenance visit, 10:00–14:00). An hour window is an annotation: the night stays sellable, it shows on the day view, and it never exports as a busy day on the iCal feed.
