Where a setting lives
Configuration in Stay N Host lives close to the thing it configures, not in one giant Settings tree. That’s a deliberate design - the bank account a quotation prints lives with the money surfaces, a property’s refund ladder lives on the property - but it means the answer to “where do I change X?” isn’t always Settings. This page is the complete map. (A shorter version lives in the Team & workspace overview.)
What actually is in Settings
Section titled “What actually is in Settings”The Settings page has five tabs (each deep-linkable - see Keyboard shortcuts & navigation):
| Tab | Holds |
|---|---|
| General | The workspace itself: country, timezone, base currency, your logo and brand color. |
| Operations | The tunable operational policies, rendered from a registry - the listing hold duration (default 120 minutes), decimal display on amounts, the arrival/departure photo gates, cleaning SLAs, and every future tunable, which appears here without a new screen. |
| Payment channels | Which payment rails your workspace accepts - the channels guests can claim to have paid through. |
| Your WhatsApp connection and setup. | |
| Approvals | The approval policies: quotation links needing approval, guest cash needing a second approval step. |

| Who gets paid, and into what account | Payees (Costs & Payouts) - the one surface carrying counterparty bank details |
