What the owner sees
An owner signs in with a Property owner seat and lands on their portal: their units, their share, and what’s been paid out. The scoping is structural - the portal resolves who they are from their linked owner record on the server, so they see exactly their own portfolio; nothing of yours, nothing of other owners’. The whole page is read-only: owners approve nothing and can’t reach any operational screen.
The page, top to bottom
Section titled “The page, top to bottom”- Month-to-date cards - their share so far, the gross their units earned, the costs recorded against their units, and rent due (leased units only). These are live figures for the month in progress, clearly distinct from settled statements.
- Your units - each unit with the agreement that governs it: a managed unit pays them its revenue less your fee; a leased unit pays rent plus their share of profit.
- Monthly statements - the settled record, issued automatically once you close a month. Each statement itemizes every booking’s revenue, costs, fee, and their share - see Owner statements.
- Distributions - what’s been paid out, grouped by the month it settles; a payment made late still appears under the month it belongs to. A pending request shows as pending - only paid money counts as received.
- Last 12 months - their monthly earnings (their share, not the gross); a month with nothing shows as an empty bar rather than disappearing.
- Your return - stated on the honest basis for their mix: capital paid back against what they put in (leased), their share against running costs (managed), or both side by side - never blended into one fake number.
- Your booking allowance - if you’ve granted one: nights per period and allowed arrival days for personal use of their own unit.
