Properties & listings
Inventory is three layers: property (the building) → listing type (the unit category) → listing (the sellable unit). The Start-here chapter walks the first setup; this area covers everything the layers can do.
| Guide | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Add a property | The four-step wizard: basics, schedule, photos, review. |
| Set up listing types | What a type carries for every unit, and when to split one. |
| Add a listing | Creating the sellable unit itself. |
| Manage photos | Property gallery vs listing gallery, and which shows where. |
| Set up content & policies | Guest-facing content and how inheritance works. |
| Set the refund ladder | The cancellation policy printed on every quote. |
| Set quotation terms and footer | The boilerplate below a quote’s pricing. |
| Link units | Parent/child units that can never double-sell. |
| Set static access codes | The permanent guest and cleaner codes on a unit’s lock. |
| The Finance & operating model tab | Whose money each unit’s revenue is. |
The property page
Section titled “The property page”Open any property and its tabs hold: Listing types · Listings · Linked units · Content & policies · Policies · Quotations · Channels · Finance & operating model · Configuration.
- Content & policies - house rules, arrival info, Wi-Fi, amenities. Content written at the property level flows down to every listing; a listing can override any piece. Amenities work the same way - an empty listing list means “inherit”.
- Policies - the refund ladder: how much a guest gets back at each notice period.
- Quotations - the footer and terms printed on every quote from this property.
- Linked units - parent/child relationships so a combinable apartment can never double-sell (see Calendar).
- Finance & operating model - whose money this property’s revenue is: owned, leased/arbitrage, managed for an owner, profit-share, or investor-funded. It changes your books, not your operations - see Concepts.
The listing page
Section titled “The listing page”Each listing has: Overview · Linked units · Photos · Calendar · Occupancy · Channels · Access codes · Finance.
- Photos at listing level are the unit’s own gallery - the thumbnail and room photos guests see.
- Access codes holds the unit’s static codes (a physical lockbox, a permanent keypad code). Per-stay codes and their release gate live with the booking, not here.
- Occupancy shows this unit’s own performance.
