Run a group inquiry

A family taking three apartments, a company block-booking a floor - that is one deal, not three inquiries. A group inquiry holds several units under one guest, quotes them together for the same nights as one price on one quotation, and converts together.

1. On Inquiries, press New group inquiry. (You can also drag a multi-unit selection on the master calendar and start the group from there, with the units and dates prefilled.)

2. On the Stay step, build the unit set under the Group inquiry panel. Search and Add a unit until the set is right; a group needs at least two. All units share the same nights.

3. Quote the deal with whichever way you think in - One total, Per night (rate per unit, per night), or Per unit (rate per unit, whole stay) - and let Calculate total do the arithmetic. The quotation always carries ONE total for all units.

4. Continue the funnel exactly as for a single unit: send the quote link, request the advance, record the proof. The guest’s quotation page lists every unit as its own pricing line, headed by the unit count - “Apartments: 3 units (listed below).”

5. Recording the proof takes one hold per unit. When the Account Manager confirms, every held unit becomes its own booking under one group, and the legs’ shares sum to the group total exactly.

A group confirms whole or not at all

Converting requires every unit’s hold still active. If one hold lapsed - or one unit was released - the convert is refused rather than confirming a partial group. Re-record the proof to re-hold, then convert. The unit-swap override in the confirm dialog is also unavailable for groups: repointing one leg of a deal silently is exactly what should not happen.

How a group reads on the lists

List columns summarize honestly: a five-apartment group in one building names that building, and only says “Multiple properties” when the units genuinely span more than one. The unit cell shows the count with every unit code beneath it, and searching by any of those codes finds the row.
